* 30% Glycolic Acid: Glycolic acid is the smallest molecule of the AHAs (chemical exfoliant alpha hydroxy acid) family. Its small stature means it penetrates much better than its counterparts for smoother, brighter skin. Acid newbies and sensitive skin types beware! More effective also means a higher chance of irritation.
* 5% Tranexamic Acid: This molecule was first used as an oral medicine to treat excessive bleeding. Researchers noticed an overall brighter complexion in patients, and now is a go-to ingredient to tackle pesky hyperpigmentation, giving our Gold Standard an “oomph!” in brightening power.
* Dimethyl Isosorbide + Ethoxydiglycol: skin-friendly solvents that improve penetration of glycolic acid and tranexamic acid for enhanced efficacy.

How to use:
Acclimating to glycolic acid? Try mixing a drop of Gold Standard with your favorite soothing serum. Put your serum in hand first, add gold standard, mix well in hand, then apply to face. You can do this every day or every other day as your skin gets used to it. Increase the size of the Gold Standard droplet to suit your skin needs. Gold Standard can also be used as a once a week chemical peel rinse-off mask. Apply a thick layer all over, let sit for 10 minutes, then rinse off with water. Light stinging, in the beginning, is normal.
